Demonstrative adjectives: this, that, these, and those. They are used to point out specific people or things.
This and That for Singular Nouns
This and that are used to MODIFY singular nouns.
This is used to point out something close by. For example:
This plate is very hot.
That is used to point out something farther away. For example:
Can you see that table?
These and Those for Plural Nouns
These and those are used to modify plural nouns.
These is used to point out something close by. For example:
These flowers smell nice.
Those is used to point out something farther away. For example:
Do not approach those dogs.
